Turkey Denounces Israeli Settler Violence, Civilian Killings in West Bank

(MENAFN) Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday strongly condemned attacks by illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank, as well as the killing of Palestinian civilians, calling for accountability and international legal action.

The ministry said that the government of Benjamin Netanyahu is contributing to an environment that enables settler violence through what it described as occupation policies, which it said aim to pressure Palestinians and weaken prospects for peace and stability in the region.

It further urged the international community to ensure that alleged violations committed in Palestine do not go unpunished, stressing the need for those responsible to be held accountable through judicial processes.

The statement reflects Türkiye’s broader position calling for stronger international action over developments in the occupied territories.
